StarCIO Digital Trailblazer Community Guidelines

We are a diverse and inclusive network of digital transformation, innovation, and change leaders committed to fostering authentic and honest conversations. To achieve this, we ask all members to use their real names, promoting transparency and trust. Our community thrives on respect, collaboration, and the shared goal of driving meaningful change in our respective fields. Please review and adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a positive and productive experience for all members. Together, we can create a supportive environment that inspires and empowers each of us to lead and innovate.

1. Be Respectful and Considerate

Treat all members with respect and courtesy.
Listen to others’ viewpoints and engage in constructive dialogue.
Avoid offensive or derogatory language and personal attacks.

2. Authenticity and Transparency

Use your real name when registering and participating in the community.
Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and posts.
Be honest about your experiences and expertise.

3. Legal and Ethical Sharing

Share only content that you have the right to share.
Do not post copyrighted or proprietary material without proper authorization.
Respect the confidentiality of your workplace and clients.

4. Permission for Content Use

Obtain explicit permission from contributors before using their content outside the community.
Credit original authors and link back to their contributions where appropriate.

5. Constructive Contributions

Avoid spam, self-promotion, or irrelevant posts.
Report any inappropriate content or behavior to the moderators.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Do not share personal information without consent.
Understand and comply with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
Members have the right to access, modify, and delete their personal data.
The community will ensure that personal data is processed lawfully, transparently, and for a specific purpose.

Welcome to the Digital Trailblazer Community, hosted by StarCIO. By accessing or using this community site, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using the Digital Trailblazer Community, you agree to abide by these Terms and any additional guidelines or rules posted within the community. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use this site.

2. Real Names and Authenticity

We require all members to use their real names to foster an environment of authenticity and trust. By joining the community, you commit to providing accurate and truthful information about yourself.

3. Community Guidelines

You agree to adhere to our Community Guidelines, which include being respectful of others, sharing only legally permissible content, and seeking permission before using others’ contributions outside the community. Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in the revocation of your community membership without a refund.

4. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All content posted on the Digital Trailblazer Community site is the property of StarCIO. This includes but is not limited to text, images, videos, and any other material shared within the community. Unauthorized use or distribution of StarCIO content is strictly prohibited.

5. Subscription and Membership

Membership to the Digital Trailblazer Community is subscription-based. StarCIO reserves the right to revoke any subscription, without refund, for members who repeatedly violate the Community Guidelines or these Terms of Service.

6. Subscription Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policy

Subscribers may cancel their subscription at any time by contacting our support team or through the account management section of the platform. Subscriptions are non-transferable and are intended for the sole use of the subscriber who initially purchased the subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a subscription fee has been paid, it cannot be refunded, either in whole or in part.

By subscribing to our services, you agree to these terms regarding the cancellation, transfer, and refund of your subscription.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Our practices are designed to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws. 8. Content and Conduct

User Contributions: By submitting content to the community, you grant StarCIO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, and display your content within the community.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to post any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or violates any intellectual property rights.
Account Security: Subscribers are prohibited from sharing their login credentials with other individuals. Each subscription is for single-user access only. Sharing of login information is a violation of these terms and may result in the suspension or termination of the subscription without a refund.

9. Termination

StarCIO reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Digital Trailblazer Community at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to, breach of these Terms, repeated violation of Community Guidelines, or any conduct deemed harmful to other members or the community as a whole.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StarCIO be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Digital Trailblazer Community. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the community shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the community.

11. Changes to the Terms

StarCIO reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the community site. Your continued use of the community after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which StarCIO is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Advisory Connect Program Terms of Service

Effective Date: Jul 3, 2024

1. Program Overview The Advisory Connect Program provides Digital Trailblazer Community subscribers with personalized advisory sessions aimed at enhancing their skills and knowledge in technology, transformation, data, and product management.

2. Session Duration and Eligibility

Each Advisory Connect Session is 15 minutes in duration.
Digital Trailblazer subscribers are eligible for two Advisory Connect Sessions as part of their subscription.

3. Prerequisites

Subscribers must complete a specified Advisory Connect Program before they can schedule their Advisory Connect Sessions.

4. Scheduling and Rescheduling

Subscribers can schedule their sessions through the provided scheduling platform.
Subscribers are allowed to reschedule each session once, subject to availability.
Rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours before the originally scheduled session time.

5. No-Show Policy

If a subscriber does not attend a scheduled session (no-show), the session will be counted as completed and cannot be rescheduled.
No refunds or additional sessions will be provided for missed sessions.

6. Alternative Completion Method

If an Advisory Session cannot be scheduled or completed via a virtual call, the session will be completed through one round of Q&A email exchange as a valid substitute.

7. Conduct and Usage

Subscribers are expected to conduct themselves professionally during sessions.
The sessions are designed for personal use only and should not be shared or distributed without prior permission.

8. Modifications to the Program

The terms and conditions of the Advisory Connect Program are subject to change at any time. Subscribers will be notified of any significant changes.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Advisory Connect Program and its advisors provide guidance and advice based on their expertise and experience. The program does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.
